Auto Iris Lenses
All of our cameras have the facility for Auto Iris lenses, with these the light adjustment is made by the lens and not the camera, the result is a far greater and quicker adjustment than is possible by using an electronic iris. This is recommended for extreme lighting situations, such as very bright or very dark conditions, always varying light conditions (e.g. nightclubs, amusement arcades), or where there is uneven light (e.g. viewing a number plate on a car with its lights on). Auto Iris lenses and compatible cameras are often more expensive but do offer better results than the cheaper electronic iris solution.
